We have been very busy in third class. The children have recounted some of the activities they have carried out in recent times.

Every Thursday we do GAA with Stephen and he is very good. He thought us lots of stuff about GAA and now we really like it. We also went swimming in Tallaght Leisure Centre and we had lots of fun. There was a deep end and a shallow end. The people who could swim went in the deep end and the people who couldn’t went in the shallow end. We all really like swimming now. For active schools week, we had an obstacle course. It was fun because we all took part. Some people had to go to cross country that day and missed the obstacle course. Some kind 6th class showed us how to do the obstacle course. We all had so much fun. We did not want to stop! – Kya, Tadhg, Ellen, Sean, Lauren

We also did dancing during active schools week with a girl called Leah. We all took part and had fun dancing to the song Giant. Leah was really kind and thought us the dance. At the end she said we were really good dancers. My favourite part was the very start when we were on the ground. Sean’s favourite part was when it was over haha. – Kya, Ellen, Sean, Lauren, Evan

We walk to Tymon park for Cross country with the other 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th classes. Ms O’Leary and Una come with us. Then when we arrive we do some stretches and exercises. 6th class go first, then 5th, 4th and finally 3rd class. We were all happy and we walked back to school and told teacher the good news.
