On March 9th, we celebrated World Book Day.
*We had D.E.A.R. time
*We did shared reading
*We discussed our recommended reads
*We designed bookmarks and winners from each class won a certificate and a free book from our book fair.
*We also had our annual school book fair and we were delighted to see so many children interested and searching through the books for their favourite authors and exploring some new ones also.
The children bought so many books from the book fair that we have been given over a €1000 to spend on new books for our school!
