Scoil Aonghusa Senior has a strong commitment to fostering a love of gaelic games within the school. We are linked to Thomas Davis’, our local GAA club and the children get 6 week blocks of lessons in Gaelic football and hurling throughout the year.
The school participates in Cumann na mBunscol every year. We have a girls and a boys team and have reached the finals in Croke Park on 4 separate occasions in recent years. We have lunch time training sessions and also organise in school leagues throughout the year.
We encourage all our players to practice their skills at home as well as joining their local GAA club if possible.
